Bridlington - Sewerby - South Landing - Flamborough - Sewerby - Bridlington

Despite the height gain shown in the summary, this is a fairly flat walk along the clifftops. The height gain is due merely to the undulating lie of the land and in particular, three very steep ravines that have to be crossed on well-made steps and bridges. The outward-bound portion of the walk is purely a coastal path with uninterrupted views of the sea to your right and mostly fields to your left. The return portion of the trip passes through the villages of Flamborough and Sewerby but returns to the coastal path as it nears Bridlington.

Undertook this walk on a cold but bright January Saturday and found the views back towards Bridlington fantastic. It's well worth taking the time to go down and walk on the beach, tide permitting. If walking this route in winter be prepared for a muddy inland route from Flamborough through the fields back to Bridlington
