The walk allows for a wander around Brecon before visiting the cathedral. The walks through Priory Groves are particularly interesting in the spring when they are alive with birds. Walking back to Brecon from Llanddew, the skyline of the Brecon Beacons is breathtaking.

Great walk. Watch out at point 4, we couldn't seem to find the tree. Safe to say though that when you pass the wayside well you will come up to a tarmac path leading to houses. Do not continue but bear right to stay in woodland with the fence on the right. Follow the fence and obvious woodland path for some distance ignoring a gate by a field until you reach point 5. A very nice walk, save it for good weather as the views are superb in places. 9/10. Steve Harris
