Starting in Brinklow, a village on the old Roman route from Bath to Lincoln (The Fosse Way), this walk visits Brinklow's impressive motte and bailey castle, uses the towpath of the Oxford Canal to reach the village of Easenhall and the Georgian mansion of Newbold Reval (now the Prison Service College), before rejoining the canal to return to Brinklow.

Probably more like a 3.5. A short amount of road walking and some fields with a potential for livestock, balanced by long stretches of lead-free canalside walking.
