The area at Bwlch nant yr Arian is devoted to walking and cycling. There are leaflets available. The area is high in the Cambrian Mountains, not high enough for heavy winter weather but high enough to warrent respect for the variation in weather conditions the higher you climb. This walk is fairly easy, does take you up a flight of steps for fantastic views, but is never too far away from the visitor centre or car park.

This is a lovely area with something for all ages, including children. The steps at waymark 2 seem to have gone missing, but the yellow arrow is still there. If you'd like an extended walk, with additional superb viewpoints, you can follow the red arrows from waymark 2 to 3. This will add half an hour or so to the walk, but it's not particularly strenuous.
