The village of Edale is predominately known as the starting point for the Pennine Way and as an access point onto the mighty Kinder Plateau, but the Edale Valley has much to offer in its own right. This walk follows part of the Pennine Way, with peaceful meadows, tiny hamlets and magnificent views up to Kinder, the Great Ridge and Rushop Edge. Mostly flat, it is a walk for all the family to enjoy.

A great walk to kick off our week in the peaks. Thanks

A great walk. The gateway at point 4 was very boggy so we carried on through the farm buildings and turned left to stay on the road, picking the route up again at point 7.
