This walk starts at the Royal Oak, Great Wishford, then follows the Monarch's Way before turning west onto the course of an old Roman road. The track next follows a section of Grim's Ditch and returns along the Roman road again and back to the start. There are great views to the north over the Wylye Valley, particularly where the trees are more sparse.
