Marshfield is an attractive village located on the A420 from Bristol to Chippenham. You head out from Marshfield along footpaths across gently undulating countryside. Follow this with a short stretch on quiet road to regain the footpaths, with impressive views ahead. A steep descent takes you across more fields and thence to pass the impressive St Catherine's Court. You cross more fields to reach an old mill before a brief, steep climb leads you to a section along the side of a valley. You cross the valley (another short steep climb!) and return to Marshfield via a long stretch along the valley floor.

Sadly missed out on the views as it was a foggy day but a lovely walk nevertheless . Gets very boggy in the winter particularly neat the Streams! Directions on the whole are pretty good minus the odd footpath sign that occasionally goes missing from the side of the post/stile ! Just to confirm that Jane Seymour no longer lives at St Catherine's Court. Now in the hands of a Russian oligarch apparently
