A most enjoyable 12km walk along the best part of the Kingfisher Trail, starting at Moses Gate Country Park and finishing at the Clifton Country Park. There is no climbing at all, but plenty of wildlife and points of interest along the way.

Jim retraces his steps from waymark 17 but the walk between waymarks 14 and 15 follows a unattractive muddy track behind the sewage works so we looked for an alternative for the return. Immediatly after returning over the green bridge at waymark 17 turn left over the stile. Follow the river bank through pastures across a second stile and after the third stile turn right onto a crossing track. After 50 metres turn left at the road and follow it for about 300 metres to reach the bridge and pub at waymark 12. PS - I don't believe Jim's timing of 90 minutes for 12 Km. It took us 3.5 hours including stops for lunch and viewing and slipping in the mud.
