This easy walk takes the walker through some of the quiet woodlands in eastern Gwent. The woods are mixed, with plenty of birds, ferns and mosses and fungi in season. In the early spring look out for the lovely bright red Elf Cup fungi as it glows amongst the green moss. The meadows can be wet after heavy rain.

The start of this walk is very much overgrown, so we found it best to continue down the lane and take the first left. Continue to walk up the single track lane which will bring you back on track.
