Pepper Wood - Nutnells Wood - Randon Wood - Santery Hill Wood - Nutnells Wood

This is a six-mile walk starting at a small car park on the edge of Pepper Wood, near Bournheath. We take a bridle-path that is easy to follow, to the outskirts of Dodford. From here we head to Nutnells Wood and head south to Randon Wood before cutting across Santery Hill Wood, taking Chartists Walk and Royal Hunters Way.

The woods contain plenty of birds, including buzzards and woodpeckers. The stiles on the most part have lift-up sections for dogs.

I did this in August 2020 - a lovely walk with all directions and waypoint descriptions perfectly up to date

A nice walk in an area rich in history. Had the woodlands to myself today. Muddy underfoot in places but only to be expected afters weeks of rain. Thanks for the walk - some photos - including the obstacle tree - at my walking blog - http://mappiman.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/201215-dodford-doddle.html

Great walk, will do again. :-)

On the instructions to get to the walk it states turn left onto Dordale Road. Actually it is right and the car park is on the right after a couple of hundred metres.

Very nice circular walk through woods and fields. Dog friendly. Can be muddy and some road walking although the roads are quiet. Nice views of the Malvern hills. Overall an excellent walk.
