This short, circular walk is centred on one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Wales and takes you into the fringes of the Berwyn Mountains with clear views of the craggy eastern faces of the highest peaks. The going is generally good on paths and tracks with the exception of one short boggy area.

Just to let people know the car park charge is £4 which I consider expensive, also they charge to use the toilet and there are no toilet facilities in the cafe which I think is totally wrong, so I would advise everyone to park before you reach the car park.

I completed this walk on the 25th August. As said previously the walk is closed at Waymark 2. However, if you backtrack to the first car park (the one you pay for) you will find, near the exit to this car park, a path leading off to the left. As you take a few steps up this path there are 2 gates. The first is also closed, however, the second one is open. If you go through this gate and climb the well marked path you will arrive at Waymark 3. You can then follow the path as detailed.

The footpath referred to at point 2 on the walk was closed when we tried to do the walk on 17 June. Check before you go!

We completed this walk at the beginning of February 2011. The views from the walk were stunning and the waterfall was beautiful. Sections of the walk were very steep which my Mum found quite strenuous.

I completed this walk with my wife over a couple of hours this afternoon. The views were beautiful & the directions spot on. Thanks for this walk Jim

Beautiful walk. In May after rain we had some difficulty with the marshy areas as we turned to cross the stream and took our boots off to cross it as it was quite deep. However the waterfall looked fab of course! Thanks.
