This area of North Wales is rich in woodland and waterfalls. There are plenty of forestry car parks but this particular one has toilets, an information board and woodland walks. This walk is not very long, but has quite a height gain and loss over a short distance. The views from the top are worth it. Pick a fine day and if possible, take a map of Wales with you to identify the main features. Plynlimon lies north but there are mountains all around.
