This is a historical circular walk through the forest, following the route of the aquaduct that supplies Glasgow's water. The pipeline is over 100 years old and is underground for most of the way. Every so often there are spectacular views of the aquaducts, which are a credit to Victorian engineering. There are constant views of Ben Lomond, Scotland's most southerly Munro, with a waterfall and a loch thrown in for good measure. This walk is suitable for large walking-groups.
