Leaving the car park on the outside of the village of Wycoller, the walk climbs steadily onto the moor. Soon a gradual descent leads to a magical stroll though a leafy glen. A good track across the moors joins the Bronte Way and then ascends to the Howarth Road and the Herders Arms, famous for its excellent fare. A fine panoramic stride now leads back to Wycoller via the intriguing Foster’s Leap; it's downhill all the way!
