Roachside Cottage
This cosy, stone-built cottage is set below the gritstone outcrops of The Roaches and features two bedrooms (one double, one with 2 single beds) plus a double sofabed in the lounge – comfortable for 6, very spacious for 4.
There is a good-sized kitchen with modern appliances and a dining table & chairs, a cosy lounge area and what we use as a study/library corner (which also acts as a dining room for six).
The upstairs bathroom contains a shower, slipper bath and w.c.
Underfloor heating makes the cottage a treat to come back to after a breezy day on the moors and the double-sided log burner adds to the cosy feel on cold winter evenings.
There is off-road parking in the grounds and a panoramic view of the setting sun from the picnic table at the front.
