Dales Walking Group for Singles
Hi there ,
We are a group of friendly unattached people aged 50 and over. We walk regularly once/twice a month in the Yorkshire Dales, the walks are between 8 and 11 miles.
During the year we have 2/3 weekends away either in the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District or Northumberland. We would like to invite new members to join our group, if you do decide to join us you will be made very welcome. I have been organizing and leading the walks now for many years, we walk at a steady pace and go at the pace of the slowest, anyone who is reasonably fit should be able to enjoy our walks.
All the walks are checked before doing them with the group.
In September I produce a programme of walks for the following year, I then send out accurate meeting details of each walk to members about 10 days before the walk by Email.
For more details please take a look at the website.
