You wake to the sound of bird song… nature right outside your window. With views over the wildflower garden, you can watch songbirds such as Tree Creepers, Gold Crests, Long Tail Tits, and Nuthatch feeding. Petasfield Cottages offer peace and tranquillity in the heart of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

Situated on a quite country lane just 1.5 miles from historic Hertford. The cottages welcome all and are fully accessible. All cottages have broadband and under floor heating. Close to all major road networks and railway stations. Quite well behaved dogs are welcome.

You can walk for miles through woods, bridleways and footpaths. There are many good country pubs en route to break the journey serving excellent food.

Rye Meads nature reserve is especially interesting for keen bird watchers. Another huge advantage is that it has accessible trails so everyone can enjoy the area.
