A gentle walk from the attractive village of Woburn, traversing the 3,000-acre Bedford Estate and deer-park and visiting Woburn Abbey. The deer-park boasts ten species of deer, including the rare Pere David's. The walk could be combined with a visit to the house itself and to the well-known safari park.

Woburn is an elegant Georgian village with more than 200 listed buildings in its main street. There are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Excellent walk on a beautiful Spring Day. Directions easy to follow, and the grounds of Woburn are very impressive. Green Man is very usefully placed for a refreshment stop, with a large outside seating area. Will definitely return for an evening walk in Summer.

Fantastic walk. The Deer Park was amazing, the kids loved it. We stopped at The Green Man for a snack. Staff and food were excellent. Full Covid distancing measures in place. We didn't fancy the road on the way back so crossed back to No 4 and returned that way. Thank you to whoever mapped this one. Clear directions and instructions.

A lovely walk to do on a summer's evening . Care needed between points 7 and 8 as not over clear which paths to take but once on the Greensand Ridge Walk it is plain sailing all the way back into Woburn . Fabulous also on this walk to see the deers running free within the grounds of Woburn Park

A good walk for a Sunday to work up an appetite for lunch. When following the bridle way near Tyrell's End the way descends into a sunken track at SP985329. Between here and SP984328 this track can turn into a stream, quite deep in places. It is possible to avoid this by back tracking a few yards and following the parallel footpath, which is clearly waymarked and has access and exit gates.
