Start this circular walk from the beautiful, unspoilt village of Quainton, with fantastic panoramic views from the top of Quainton Hill of the Chilterns, Cotswolds and over North Buckinghamshire (even the new Snow Dome at Milton Keynes on a fine day). It is a very peaceful walk, with one steep climb on a good track - and worth it at the top.

It takes you directly up the hill to the telecommunications mast; as long as you walk uphill towards the mast you are going in the right direction. Although the hill is long, it is not too steep. On the way up you will pass over a very large badger sett.

First time doing this walk on a blustery, sunny, black cloud, mild, showery autumn day. Beautiful 360 views pretty much all the way, very gentle climb. Very muddy at the through gates.

I did this walk with my 8 months pregant wife as it sounded easy. We were not disappointed, it was easy to follow with beautiful views for fairly minimal effort. Quainton village is lovely too.
