Lovely walk very easy to follow, recommended. Nice coffee and scone at Dunham Massey at start of walk. Finished walk there with homemade soup, brill!

A nice easy walk which we did for our new year's day stroll. The Axe and Cleaver pub halfway round makes an excellent coffee stop should you wish, and could also be used as a start/finishing point as it serves food all day.

Walk 274 Dunham circular walk. A pleasant, easy walk giving a different view of my own local area. However, Check point 6 is shown on the map and bears Grid reference of a bridge too early (should be 739882, not 735880). The earlier bridge could be used but, due to the approach of the path, you would have to turn L not R. At Pt 10, I took the path straight on as recomended by the revised directions. This leads to a gateway onto Charcoal Rd which is so overgrown that it is almost unpassable. Grid refs in the deer park are also a bit suspect, one is completely off the map, although shown app correctly. Having said the above, I enjoyed the walk and the written description was perfectly correct. R.Gresty.

All went well until the golf course. White bollards and metalled path could not be found! Thank God for friendly farmer who directed us back to the park! Otherwise a pleasant walk but these directions need to be updated.

Enjoyed this walk alot, however the instructions past the 7th Tee were a bit of a problem as there is woodland work going on therefore path closed. There is no diversion signposted, however if you proceed to the right of the Tee and then cut across to the left at the earliest point then you will rejoin the path.

completed this walk 19 September. Nice and easy walk with a couple of nice pubs along the way. Managed to see some deer at the sanctuary. We all enjoyed this walk and its ideal for children too.
