A circular walk through farmland, woodland and open grassland with superb views over the South Downs. Most of the walk is through land owned by the Angmering Park Estate – well known for its excellent management of the land for agriculture, forestry and wildlife. The estate also has a studfarm and an internationally known racing stables. You are likely to see a large variety of plants, birds and animals (including possibly racehorses and Highland cattle!)

If you are looking for a longer walk (to a total of just under twelve miles), with more superb views of the South Downs, it is possible to extend this walk (by another 5.2 miles) by joining Walk 4243. This is another circular walk, so you will return to continue the original walk from the same point later (Waymark 6 on Walk 4243 is the same as Waymark 22 on Walk 4334).

This walk was originated by Martin O'Keeffe. Walkingworld is delighted to welcome Keith and Ing-Marie Beldam as the new contributors now taking care of Martin's walks from May 2014. Walkingworld, admin and members, would like to say a huge thank you to Martin for all his excellent contributions over the years.

1/11/07-Ray Churcher-As Martin suggested I combined this one with walk 4243. A total of just over 11 miles starting from The Dover car park. This turned out to be probably the best walk I have done from the walkingworld selection. Absolutely brilliant. 10/10 and thank you. Ray Churcher.
