The River Ayr from Sea to Source Part 4: Sorn to Wellwood

The walk starts at Sorn. This part of the Way is very clearly signposted. The path follows closely to the river through woodland.
It crosses Airds Moss which is a Special Protected Area because it is ornithologically important. It finishes at Wellwood on the A70 as one of the few places where this part of the Way can be accessed by bus or car.
