From the ferry terminal at Brodick, cross the road and walk up the road to Lamlash for half a mile, turn left and go up a minor road, admiring the views as you walk along. This road soon changes to a farm track, then a trail uphill to Dun Foinn (site of fort) and is also a great viewpoint. At one time this was deep forest, but recent harvesting has cleared the hill and you now have open scenery all the way. A good path takes you easily up Clauchland Hill. From here it is downhill and over to Glen Cloy with a river walk down to the shore and to finish, a walk along the seafront to the ferry.
