Arkesden - Hampits - Langley - Coopers End - Stevens Lane - Arkesden

Starting from an idyllic spot near the village church, this walk takes you through some delightful countryside, mainly on farmland paths and tracks, before returning to the start point.

This is a companion walk to Walk 6476 and more information about the local area is available there. There is a pub in Arkesden as well as the two in Clavering.

A very pleasant walk on good tracks mainly on field edges. Heavy rain meant a short clinging muddy path across the field mentioned in 3. The Axe and Compass is a deservedly popular pub which can cater for groups of walkers and is a very suitable place to end this pleasant walk with its clear instructions.
