A mixture of riverside and woodland walking. The walk initially takes you along a part of the historic Brooklands racetrack, followed by a stretch along the River Wey. It passes the Brooklands Museum with a view of Brooklands Concorde. As the walk is fairly short, you may wish to extend the day by a visit to the museum. Museum entrances are passed at Waymarks 07 and 16.

Re-walked today. I have made a small change to the wording of wm09. It crosses a stream not the river. The path at wm13 is now less overgrown but there are some fallen trees across. It is fairly easy to climb over these but if any doubts continue down Lock King Road.

The resurfacing mentioned by Anthony is now complete. In fact it has been resurfaced as far as wm10 with a low footbridge underneath the road bridge for use in case of flooding. I agree with Anthony regarding the footpath at wm13, if it is still overgrown, you can just continue walking down Locke King road without really changing the walk. I only included that footpath as it gave another opportunity of viewing the track.

Currently the path at WMs 5 and 6 is being resurfaced and the paths are closed, but it is possible to get round this, and I would guess only be a week or two before it is finished. The footpath at WM 13 is very overgrown and virtually impassable. We gave up, and just continued to walk down Locke King Road. Didn't like the walk by the main road, but there is a lot of interest in the other bits, and seeing Concord was a bonus.
