Sterling Mills - Harviestoun Castle - Castle Doom - River Devon - Sterling Mills
This walk starts and ends at the Sterling Mills outlet village which is ideal for refreshments and food before or after the walk. The walk traces along the old Devon Railway before heading to higher ground at Harvieston Castle. Passing along the top of Dollar Golf Club, you arrive at Castle Campbell [Castle Gloom] before heading down through Dollar Glen into Dollar and back along the old railway line before breaking off and following the banks of the River Devon. Finally you return along the base of Sheardale Ridge before returning to Sterling Mills.
