Acle - Fishley - Upton - Acle

Starting off in the centre of Acle, this walk quickly finds some lovely countryside to explore. The route heads north along a public footpath towards the lonely Fishley Church. The church is in good condition thanks to some Victorian input not too long ago, but unfortunately kept locked most of the time. The route continues past the church through open fields with views to the right down to the Rover Bure and eventually arrives on the edge of Upton. The route bypasses most of the village to take in some of the lovely Broadland scenery just to the south of Upton Dyke and then passes the boats around to the edge of Upton Fen Nature Reserve. From here there is a little bit of road-walking (thankfully on very quiet country lanes) before the route joins a long track through farmland in the direction of Burlingham. The last section of the route takes in some of the Acle and Burloingham Woodland walks and follows a track towards Acle before turning off and along a path through Jubilee Wood, then follows the road back into Acle village centre.
