Lulworth Cove - Newlands Farm - Durdle Door - Hambury Tout - Lulworth

Starting off in the small village of Lulworth, this walk begins by exploring the stunning section of coastline around Lulworth Cove and its magnificent sea arches and twisting rocks. The cove is a spectacular sight and worth a stop-off to enjoy some lovely scenery. The route then turns away from the village and follows a public footpath through open fields and around Durdle Door Caravan Park and joins the South West Coast Path about half a mile west of Durdle Door.

The South West Coast Path is one of the best-known long-distance paths in the country and is also the longest at 630 miles. The next section of this walk follows a couple of miles of it and in my opinion, the best section with some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Britain has to offer.

Durdle Door is a breathtaking arch and is worth the walk down to the beach to admire its beauty. The last section of the route takes you over Hambury Tout, which offers a beautiful panorama of the Dorset Coast before the path makes its way back down to Lulworth.

A lovely walk..however the parking charges at the carpark mentioned have gone up considerably. Would recommend the contactless check in and check out parking,as you only pay for the hours you have been there.
