From the old Iford stone Bridge you join the Stour Way to walk alongside the river for a couple of kilometres. You then follow a footpath uphill shadowing houses until you arrive in King's Park, the sporting centre of Bournemouth. You walk through the park, cross under the dual carriageway Bournemouth entry road and enter Queen's Park. The way passes round the edge of this beautiful golf course. The last section of the walk passes along footpaths coming down to Castle Point, a major retail and café centre.
