'Bournemouth Bus Pass' Walk: The Broadway via Throop Mill to Fairmile and Barrack Road near Iford Bridge, Christchurch

This is an easy walk passing along Broadway Lane, through the historic Throop Village and past Throop Mill. The walk crosses the River Stour and passes along the riverbank before coming out into Hurn Village. Caution: there is a short section of busy road with no pavement. The walk continues across heathland at Sopley Common and along an old steam train rail track out to St Catherine's Hill. You walk along a ridge with views down to the River Avon before descending to enter a delightfully well-kept cemetery and finishing at a bus stop near to Iford Bridge, on Barrack Road, Christchurch.
