The Anaga has a different landscape to much of Tenerife. The peaks are steep and there are more trees than elsewhere. This walk starts at the very end of the road down the spine of the Anaga. Initially following a steep-sided barranco, the path reaches a cultivated area with the chance to paddle on the beach. Then there is a stiff climb past the lighthouse and on up the headland before descending through scrub and woodland back to the start.
