It starts crossing a section of the canal and a road to reach some woodland. The section through the woodland passes a small lake before walking alongside a stream to reach a road. After a short section along the road the route joins a cycle way which is followed, passing below a major road, to reach a footpath. The footpath is followed, crossing the major road, to reach the edge of a golf course. There is then a section through the golf course, using public footpaths, to reach a second major road. The next section crosses the road and walks down to the canal, RHS Bridgewater using a road and a cycle path. The final section is along the canal towpath to reach the start point. There are no stiles on this walk. Street names added for clarity.
