This is an easy walk to the Kymin. It is an interesting visit from an historic point of view, but to sit on the bench near the Roundhouse on a clear day and see Monmouth and the Wye and Usk Valleys laid out in front of you, is an experience. The view stretches right across to the Welsh Mountains.
