Starting at the roadside car park by the reservoir this fairly short circular route has some amazing views, especially as you pass both sides of the reservoir. There is quite a bit of walking on fairly quiet roads, but there is a chance to shorten the walk if you don't want to visit the pub (waymark 13), and also if you don't want to visit the church (waymark 6).
Due to the volume of rain we have had in March, some of the paths are quite muddy, especially through some paddocks where horses have been running around. Apart from that most of the paths are clear and signposted (April 2023).
