This short but pretty walk starts in the village of Abernethy with its ancient tower and takes you through the woodlands surrounding Abernethy Glen to an Iron Age hill-fort, with magnificent views over the Tay Valley and South Perthshire highlands. It's an excellent leg-stretcher for those traversing Scotland on their way to the Highlands or back to the delights of Edinburgh.
