From Airton, the walk takes a gentle undulating path to the picturesque Kirkby Malham, then climbs to the wild and windswept Acraplatts for fine views before descending gently into Malham for a final stroll along the river.

A lovely walk we made on a sunny June, half term weekend. We barely saw a sole until we arrived in Malham and was ideal for a busy weekend. Instructions were clear and we found the way marks without too much trouble. Some ladder stiles mentioned had changed design but otherwise perfectly accurate.
