This circular walk has a little of everything, great views, breathtaking scenery and woodlands. Part of the walk uses a stretch of the world-famous Pennine Way, as it makes its way through the Dales national park.

The real wonder of this walk is the opportunity to enjoy the wide open spaces and views afforded as you gain height in the Dales National Park.

Birdlife is typical of the dales and there is a possibility of seeing rare birds such as peregrine falcons.

Note that when we trod these fabulous paths, there was one herd of cows that clearly were not in favour of artificial insemination, so keep your wits about you if you see a cow which is strangely larger than the rest.
