For points of interest and historic notes see in 'additional information'. This is a very enjoyable walk, mostly along good paths and very quiet country lanes. Aldborough is a pretty village with houses of all shapes and sizes overlooking the large green, where in summer cricket is played. The Old Red Lion is an excellent place to stop a while for food and real ale.

Aldborough is a beautiful village, well worth a visit just to have a pint, savour the wonderful village green and maybe on a summer afternoon watch a little cricket. The walk is pretty straightforward but as always being out in North Norfolk is just relaxing and amazing. Thwaite Hall is one of those buildings where you want to peak inside, the church (where we did peak inside) offers peace and serenity. All in all a very rewarding couple of hours. Instructions all good.
