Starting on the shore of the Talybont Reservoir, this walk takes you into the less travelled area of the National park. It may not be as high as Pen Y Fan but the fact that you start at only 200m means the climb to the top of Allt Lwyd is exactly the same ascent as the normal routes up Pen Y Fan - without having to queue for your turn on the summit!
