The walk has two contrasting parts, the first being a climb on a broad forest track and the other a charming descent through a gorge (lovely waterfall) on a twisting, varied path, with good views above the forest. Boots are recommended and the walk is suitable for all ages, taking the initial climb at a comfortable pace... There are five walks here; a second one is ID 2022. Refreshments are available in nearby Invergarry.

This is a very enjoyable walk, probably best done in reverse, as we did it, to get the best views walking up to the falls and to go uphill, rather than downhill, on the steep and slippery sections. The start point information is, however, completely wrong. There is no car park at GR 281005 and even if there was the initial instructions appear to bear no relation to the ground. More useful instructions would be to leave the A87 by turning left about two miles from the A82 junction, cross the river Garry at White Bridge and park in the Ciste Dubh car park (283013), Just over the bridge. Then take the narrow path heading South by the river (yellow marker post) and follow it until you reach a signpost on your right opposite a substantial footbridge over the burn on your left at 281005. Cross the burn by the footbridge and follow the winding track uphill to the narrow road at 282005. Cross the road and climb steeply up a narrow path until it joins the forest road. Turn right and follow the forest road to existing waypoint 4.
