Amroth - Church of St Elidyr - Little Craig-y-borion Wood - Colby Woodland Gardens - Cwms Lane - Amroth

The area behind Amroth is an area of woodland rich in wildlife. Because it is mixed woodland and damp, there is a great variety of moss all year round and a mixture of fungi in the autumn. Most of the walk is on lovely old woodland paths. A visit to the seashore will provide a selection of shells as well as scatters of worked flints. These flints date from Mesolithic and early Neolithic (Middle and New Stone Age) times, between 10,000 and 6,000 years ago.
