I have found this a very relaxing walk after visiting relations in Arrowe Park Hospital, so it doesn't have entirely happy associations for me. Nevertheless the woods and fields can be full of birdlife and flowers in summer and since most visitors stay within the bounds of the park, it can be quite a peaceful way of passing a couple of hours.
The walk goes from the north end of Arrowe Country Park to a road at the southern end. A short stretch of this road leads to an enclosed footpath, 400m of road and a field-path back to the start.
