Starting in the free car park near to the sports ground, the walk heads for the B3051 before heading off into 'mushy' meadows before walking through Sleepers Copse across open land and rejoining the B3051. After traversing more fields with great views, the walker is taken through the picturesque hamlet, Kingsclere Woodlands. After crossing a number of fields, the route tracks the River Enborne before returning across the fields to the start of the walk.

Following comments received from Neil Packham, WM 06, 07 and 08 have been rewritten to make more sense. New Photos added for 07 & 08. WM09 has also been tweaked to accommodate the diversion mentioned by Neil. The walk length is now 8.5 miles and even in May its as 'squelchy' as ever in places!

A good walk which could use an update as it’s around 1.5 miles longer than referenced. Stile at WM7 not obvious or seemingly necessary for orientation since you just stay on the track to WM8. Neither stile, banking or marker post were seen at WM8, at least by me! Minor footpath diversion was present at WM9.
