This is a very enjoyable walk with fine views of the countryside and plenty of wildflowers in spring and summer. The route is along two long-distance Norfolk paths, Marriotts Way and Bure Valley Path.

A really good walk especially on the old rail lines, its difficult not to feel nostalgic at times and it still feels wrong that so much track was ripped up and beautiful buildings destroyed. The walk itself felt much further than four miles, it took me 2 hours 30 mins so if you choose this one it might take you longer than the duration shown. The section after Point 6 has changed slightly in that there is no need to turn right as the path up the hill is now opposite the stile and bridge. Once at the top of the hill the marker sign and white board and no longer in place but it is clear what direction you need to take. The Greens Pub (P10) is now an English/Asian restaurant although it looks as you can still grab a beer if in need. Aylsham is a really nice town, some good places to eat and drink and an excellent antiques shop.
