This area of Herefordshire is not much walked and yet there is much to be seen. It is farming country, but still has a pattern of small fields, which with their varying crops provide a pleasing landscape. The views from Alt Common reach up to mid-Wales when looking north-west and towards the Malverns if you climb to the ridge.
