Barden Moor above Bolton Abbey

After a pleasant stroll along the Wharfe and a visit to Bolton Priory, the walk crosses the river and climbs up onto the grouse moors for a grand moorland section with panoramic views of upper Wharfedale. The finish along the river is easy walking.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the Bolton Abbey Estate at all unless on a public footpath, when they must be kept under close control. Read the notices for information.
