From the car park this route takes you through the village of Barley for a steep climb up to the summit of Pendle Hill for some fine Pennine views. You then descend to the Ogden Reservoirs and take a walk through Fell Wood and the village of Newchurch, with the option to visit Witches Galore to find out about the local witchcraft and legends and perhaps try a witches' brew. Finally you make your way over to White Hough for a waterside stroll back to Barley for afternoon tea.
