From near the little bar-restaurant at the recreational area of Alguerias, our way takes us up into the hills below the Espuña mountain range, twisting and turning our way up a footpath and offering the most amazing views. Skirting a deep valley below us, we curve SW to reach the mirador at Collado del Pilon and close by, the ruins of the former plaster mines and the ovens used for drying the mined plaster. From here our way takes us back down by a lovely way until we reach a junction where we turn NE to return through the forests to the start.

3/9/2015 - Martin Roberts

Did this walk on 5 March 2015, on a sunny spring day. Comfortable four hours. For the most part the route is well way marked, although in places the marks are well apart. Good track all the way. Thanks Martin Roberts
