Barranco del Infierno Nature Reserve is an important protected nature reserve where only 300 people per day are allowed to enter in order to preserve the environment and not alter the development of the species, the flora and fauna.

This is a 7.41km linear walk to and from a waterfall; you cannot stray from the path so it is impossible to get lost. This walk is not guidance (which is not required); it is merely to bring the walk to your attention if you are planning a trip to Tenerife. There are 12 information boards along the route; these we have made waymarks. We provide no text for the waymarks, so as not to spoil your reading at each information point.

Note: this is a controlled environment, with rangers on the route. There is an entrance fee (see website). This pays for safety helmet etc.
