Starting from Barton, this short and pleasant walk heads for Bickmarsh, Marlcliff and Bidford-on-Avon on field-paths, tracks and lanes in rural Warwickshire. The villages add interest with their own individual character and appeal, Bidford-on-Avon, the largest, where there are a number of shops and a sizeable church. The stretch of riverside walking is a joy, with its special peaceful environment where there is much to see and it is altogether an easy, enjoyable little walk.
